He was a pioneer in the field of Fish and Fisheries, his chief work being on Air Breathing Fishes of Ganges, instilled in her a deep affection for the furries and fishes alike. Furthermore, the disruption in Veterinary services during the Covid-19 pandemic for her own pets 'Doggo' and 'Pomita' made her realise the importance of providing compassionate and comprehensive veterinary care to pets as well as rescued furries
